I am a sucker for art prints. I have so many but most of them are sitting in tubes waiting to be framed! I decided not long ago if I was going to buy any more I could only get originals. I was admiring Christina Gordon's new prints on jamfancy the other day and then a few days later my mum said she had bought me an original!
This is it. I love it!
Thanks mum :) xoxo

I ❤ NYC
When I was in the US last year I found an old subway token. I thought it would look great as a pair of cufflinks so finally got around to making them up in sterling silver. I also made up a necklace version with a blackened chain.
I now have an online store! At the moment I only have the cufflinks on it but will have the necklace and some other items up over the weekend.

My extra special wedding ring
About a month ago I got married. It was nothing too fancy, just a simple ceremony at the registry office and then a party at a bar that night. I have always liked the idea of making each others wedding bands and so I taught Bevan how to make mine and I made his. We started with a practice one in silver.
Being able to hold a file takes a bit of getting used to so once he got the hang of it we moved onto the real thing. I think he did a great job!

What I've been up too....
I've decided I'm not very good at having a blog. I think it's mainly because I don't have a good camera and also I am good at forgetting to take pics altogether. Luckily I have a birthday coming up so might be able to score a new one and then hopefully come June, I'll be posting lots!
So, here is some of my most recent work. This ring was one made for Carly who had some gorgeous Australia sapphires her Uncle had mined and cut himself. They were all different sizes and different shades of blues and greens. The photo doesn't really do them justice. I tried to come up with a design that was pretty simple and used as many stones as I could.
I made another set of Silhouette Charms for Effie. This time though we did each boy in a different colour gold, yellow, rose and white. Effie also had a whole heap of scrap gold, broken chains, etc, which I was able to melt down and use for the yellow and rose gold charms. It's a great way to do it actually, reuse your old gold and save some money at the same time :)

Mum's birthday present
It was a few months ago now but my mum always likes handmade presents so this year I made her a pendant to add to our head charms. It was based on a design she had described and she really liked it so i think I will make more. I think they could be nice with a couple of stones set in them also.
